Itinerary
Day 01: Cochin - Munnar
Kerala has always fascinated tourist with its inviting greenery, appealing tourist spots and astounding tourist attractions. So with us your trip to Kerala will be an unforgettable journey which you will cherish and love to experience again and again in your lifetime.
Trip to Kerala starts right from your arrival at Cochin. Our representative assist to transfer you to Munnar a picturesque hill station located at a distance of 140 kms/ 4 hours drive. Throughout the journey enjoy the lovely view of the nature, thrilling drive and the mist kissed hills enveloped in the inviting green vegetations. On arrival at Munnar check into Hotel for dinner and overnight stay
Day 02: Munnar Sightseeing
After breakfast enjoy the full day sightseeing tour of Munnar, which is paradise for nature lovers with sprawling tea gardens lakes, waterfalls, spice plantations and many other exciting natural attractions. Visit - Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Blossom Garden, Rajamalai, Eravikulam Wildlife sanctuary - home of Nilgiri Thar( very rare mountain goat), considering the ecological fauna, floral, geo - morphological and zoological significant and Tea gardens. Return back on time to the hotel for a dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Munnar.
Day 03: Munnar - Thekkady
Have breakfast in the hotel and check out at 0900 Hrs and today visit to Thekkady (120 Kms / 4 Hrs). Drive through dazzling Western Ghat hills covered with exotic beauty of nature and sporadic view of water falls and streams. Throughout the journey will enjoy the lively images of lush green surrounding with spice plantation filling the air with aroma. On arrival at Thekkady, check in at Hotel afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Thekkady.
Day: 04 Thekkady (Periyar)
After healthy morning breakfast go on for a Boating in Periyar Lake (Optional) or visit to Periyar Sanctuary. Here see the exciting part of the sanctuary with varied species of birds and animals in their natural home. Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Thekkady.
Day 05: Periyar - Kumarakom
After breakfast check out of the hotel at 0900 Hrs and we drive down to Kumarakom (145 Kms / 4 Hrs). You will be passing through beautiful rubber and tea plantations, scenic vistas with enchanting waterfalls, magnetizing flora and fauna. On arrival we visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary (famous for migratory and local birds) and later check in at hotel. Kumarakom is famous for endless view of calm clean backwater of Kerala with canals, paddy fields and fishing villages. Evening go for Sunset cruise (optional) or enjoy the beauty of backwater by just relaxing near Vembanad Lake. Truly it’s an unforgettable experience of Kerala that all the tourists will love to treasure and cherish.
Day 06: Houseboat Tour Kerala
Breakfast in the hotel and later move to our houseboat at 1230 hrs checks in. Houseboat cruise is the best way to explore the beauty of backwaters. Rest of the day at leisure on the Houseboat and enjoy the panoramic view of the sun rising and setting with refreshing beauty adding magical charm. Sit back and relax while the boat cruises through the narrow serene backwater canals. Lunch, Evening Tea/Coffee with snacks, dinner and enjoy your evening on the sundeck away from hustle and the bustle city life and maddening crowd. Only disturbance will be twinkle of a shining star or diving of a fish around you to say hello by waving its tail from the lake. Dinner and overnight stay will be on the houseboat.
Day 07: Houseboat - Kovalam
Morning at leisure on House Boat experience the scenic vistas and the virgin beauty of the nature at its best. After a good breakfast at 0900 Hrs check out from houseboat and we transfer you to Kovalam (190 Kms / 4.5 Hrs) this journey is through costal areas with coconut trees and view of lagoons and palm fringed Arabian Sea. On arrival at Kovalam, check into the pre-booked hotel for refreshment and dinner. Rest of the day enjoy at leisure enjoying the panoramic view of the sea and its rumbling wavers or beach activities. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Kovalam.
Day 08: Kovalam - Trivandrum – Kovalam
After early morning breakfast today we go for a sightseeing tour of Trivandrum, a capital city of Kerala. Visit to the Napier Museum, Kuthiramalika Museum and Sri Padmanabhapuram Temple. Afternoon relax along the serene and tranquil shore of Kovalam beach. Dinner and overnight stay will be at hotel in Kovalam.
Day 09: Kovalam – Kanyakumari
After early morning breakfast in the hotel at 0900 hrs check out from Hotel and start the journey to Kanyakumari (100 KM/ 3 hrs). Enroot visit Padmanapurm palace and Suchindram temple and drive to reach Kanyakumari. On arrival check into the hotel in Kanyakumari for freshen up and refreshment. After some rest visit the Gandhi Memorial, Vivekananda Rock, Devikanya temple and return back to Hotel after seeing the sunset from the southern tip of India. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel in Kovalam.
Day 10: Kovalam – Departure
Today is the end of the tour. After morning breakfast, get ready to proceed to Airport or Railway station. Our representative assist to transfer you to the airport of railway station to board flight or train for your onwards journey or way back home. End of memorable trip.
